Description Click Here to View My Other Auctions This is a Beautiful Antique Pottery Double Egg Cup. It measures 4"h x 2"3/4w on the big end and 2"w on the small end. The picture doesn't do the Egg Cup Justice. The Egg Cup is Beautifully Decorated with a Well Detailed Hand Painted Art Nouveau Leaves, Vines and Grapes which leads me to believe this maybe Italian Pottery. The Grapes & Leaves are Brightly Colored and Realistically Detailed. The Hand Painting is big one stroke stlye. The back of this Unique Egg Cup has a one stroke curled vine that starts at the leaves you see. This Gorgeous Egg Cup has a Flawless Flowing Form. As the egg cup rises to the rim it has a Unique dotted Trim Design. There is no makers mark. If you know the pattern please feel free to email in. I think this Unique Pottery Egg Cup is from the 50's or Earlier. There is one craze line but the pottery still rings true so its not a crack. I picked this egg cup up at an estate sale a few weeks in Pebble Beach. I am listing many unique things from that sale this week.
