The grip plates are in perfect condition with perfect wire wrap and have a spectacular rainbow effect that's hard to capture here in photos. The counter guard features seated Indian Princess with arms, tobacco leaves and American shield...just beautiful! There is still traces of the silver finish throughout the hilt and sections of scabbard. The blade features blued panels with gold engravings and rates a strong 75-80%. There are some areas of surface wear and light age, but nothing serious at all. The hangers on this sword are just phenomenal as the pictures will reflect. They are in super condition with no damage which is something in itself!
