This door was found in the attic of a garage in South Bend, Indiana. The door is in the original as found condition. It is made of wood painted black with metal signs. The lettering on the screen appears to be some type of rubber material that is melted on to the screen. The signs are in very good condition with no rust. The door shows average wear and tear for it's age. The screen is in good condition with no holes or tears. The door advertises "Paul's Kreamo Bread". Kreamo bakery was a local bread bakery in South Bend, Indiana. After doing some brief research at the local library, I believe this door was probably removed from a storefront in the 1900 block of Lincoln way west in South Bend, Indiana. Lincoln way west is part of the nationally known Lincoln Highway. The South Bend business directory listed this business being in operation during the 1940's. This door would make a wonderful entry into a vintage storefront or as an addition to a advertising collection. Place a Bid!
