The piece is American made and in mint condition.  These are very rare cake stands as they were only made for a national country decor themed magazing. You may have seen them on the cover or in the pages. Hand made and very rare as the black is the hardest color to use.  They did cover over any glaze slips, but were letting you know its part of the piece. Not a cheap import! hand made here in Pennsylvania.
