1948 Hunting scenes Hallmark greeting cards NEVER USED Start Price USD 34.99 Current Price USD 34.99 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Wednesday, November 19, 2008 End Time Saturday, November 22, 2008 Location KC See more about '1948 Hunting scenes Hallmark greeting cards NEVER USED ' Description This auction is for some great vintage Hallmark hunting theme greeting cards that have been in my family for years.  I am going thru my Mother's basement, and am discovering all sorts of items that have been put away for decades.  These are an original cards, not reproductions.  They are from 1948, put out by Hallmark, and have the following numbers of cards: 7-English Srtters, 7-Labrador Retrievers, 4-Pointers, 3-Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, 1-Ring-necked Pheasant, 1-Shallow Water Ducks, 3-Mourning Dove with Bob Whites.  Some of the print pictures were furnished by Field and Stream.  These measure 4.3" wide by 5.5" tall when folded- when unfolded, or opened, they are 5.5" by 8.7" wide.  Inside is a Xmas and New Year greeting and something about the dogs or birds.  These come with the original 10" by 12" outer box which is display worthy itself, along with 30 original unused envelopes for those cards.  They are in excellent condition.  They have been in a box, and out of the sun, since last used in 1948. They are really beautiful cards.  My poor pictures don’t do this item justice!! Buyer pays $6 USPS 2-3 day priority shipping (it will get there without being damaged this way) in the continental U.S.. Insurance is available and HIGHLY ADVISABLE.
