Seems like a meeting of the Engineering Minds! The Blending Pitcher is solid glass. The Blender Pitcher has a solid aluminum base. The Motor Base is Chromed. Appears to be a Bakelite Motor Cover frontside. Manufactured by The JOHN OSTER MANUFACTURING COMPANY of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. MADE IN THE U.S.A. When this vintage treasure was aquired it was dirty. I gave it a new life! I cleaned up this blender. You might want to give it a more through cleaning. In excellent working condition!
