Description
Oh!Rudy! store BADASH CRYSTAL CHAMPAGNE BUCKET You are invited to bid on this superb full lead crystal champagne bucket from legendary crystal maker, Jack Badash of Deer Park, New York. It has deep criss-crossing cuts forming diamond patterns that rise from the bottom upward. Above this diamond pattern are large and small wedges cut to form the traditional pineapple design. The bucket is cut on the bottom with a beautiful 16 point starburst. The top rim is beveled with a series of petite scalloped half circles. On either side of the bucket swirling out from the sides are two very strong handles. This bucket is done in the Oxford pattern by Badash. This is the large sized champagne bucket that will fit two bottles very comfortably, do not confuse it with the smaller single bottle buckets available. I have provided a few photos that illustrate that it will hold three bottles, but these are without ice and I would recommend only two bottles at a time. Of course, your guests may be more coordinated and dexterous than mine and three might be okay. It is very heavy, weighing a little over 10 lbs. It measures 9 ¼ inches high, 7 inches in diameter at the bottom, and 9 ¼ inches at the opening. Each very substantial handle measures 2 ¼ inches from the side of the bucket. It has NO nicks, chips, scratches, hairlines, repairs or other structural flaws. Some of the photos have picked up refracted color from other objects in the room, but the crystal is indeed crystal clear. It still has a label which reads in green “24% Lead Crystal BADASH POLAND”. The bucket is signed on the bottom in acid etching: “Jack Badash” (see photo 17). U.S. shipping by US Postal Service, please use your zip code on the eBay/USPS calculator. This will be carefully packed and double boxed to insure, its safe arrival. Insurance is optional.I welcome bidders from outside the U.S., please e-mail me for a shipping quote. I reserve the right to refuse shipment to postal areas that do not offer postal insurance.Questions or comments welcomed. Please come back, I always have lots of pictures!
