See our other sales. This auction is for 3 old ceramic piggy banks with multicolor scroddled slip decoration all of which are damaged. The first measures 3 1/2” x 2 3/4” x 6” and has a crack in the body, a glued front foot and elongated coin slot. The next measures 3 x 5 x 3” and has unusual apple green with butterscotch coloring. His slot is chipped,belly is opened, and there is glaze loss on his sides. The third is 3 x 4 ½” x 2 ¼” and has been ingeniously opened by cutting the medial seam, then rejoining the two halves. His ears and feet and Tail have been hand formed and applied. The last measures 2 5/8” x 4” x 2 1/4” and has an impressed RR and incised 471.
