Description
This is a one of a kind custom parade saddle.  It has a comfortable high back seat (the cantle is 6” high, the seat is 16.5 – 17”) with a comfortable medium twist.  The skirts measure 28" long. This particular saddle was commissioned to be made by saddle maker Bill Huston. Mr. Huston, formerly of Paso Robles, California, is now living in Oregon, and continues to make beautiful saddles. (Note:  Mr. Huston worked with British born dressage rider Peter DeCosemo to develop the Anwar treeless saddle)  I spoke with Mr. Huston directly regarding this saddle and he told me that the saddle originally sold for $10,000.00.  (I can provide Mr. Huston’s number to the winning bidder if requested.)  The tree was made (by himself) from hard wood, then covered with Rhino truck bedliner.  He even carved the swells using a chainsaw!  This tree is indestructible.   The sterling silver on the saddle was custom made by Mr. Huston as well.  Not only is he a master saddle maker but he is also a master silversmith.  (Note: there is one small silver dot missing from the cantle edge on the left side)   Please feel free to ask questions, they will be answered promptly.    Shipping will be free with Fed Ex
