Description Up for grabs is a rare Final Fantasy VIII music box that plays the theme song, "Eyes on Me." This is a Japanese import item manufactured by Artec and according to the back, is patented. I purchased this wonderful item from a Japanese auction site awhile back and have never, seen another one like it. Considering the extremely high demand for the Final Fantasy VII Aerith Music Box within the FF collecting community, I thought I would put this on eBay to gauge the demand. I would be very reluctant to part with this item, thus the high asking price. If this reaches a serious buyer, great, but otherwise, I am more than content to keep this item in my collection, as Final Fantasy VIII ranks among my most favorite games ever. As you can see in the video I have uploaded below, this music box plays the chorus from Faye Wong's "Eyes on Me," the theme song to Final Fantasy VIII, which was composed by legend Nobuo Uematsu. The box itself measures 3" x 2 1/2" x 1 3/4". It comes housed in a custom plastic case, with corner indents to hold the box in place, and holes so that it can be played even while still inside the box. Note that there is a small (1/2") tear in the back corner of the protective box.This item will be shipped securely inside a box with lots of padding. Insurance will be included in the price.
