The center has a scalloped cut-out backed in silk with an applied cameo in a gilt Dresden style embossed scrap frame. An attached coated stock scrap reads FORGET ME NOT. The inside is blank with the exception of a name, Edward Lorraine, written in pencil. No maker's mark or watermark. Appears to be from the 1840s or 50s. Condition: oxidation on cameo and scrap. One small area of discoloration left margin. Overall excellent. See additional images below.  Our Policies Buyer pays shipping.
