It was made by the United Products Corp., in Chelsea, MA in the 1930’s. It was used for making their version of ice cream sandwich, called the Ice Cream Pie. It is in excellent condition, with about 98% of the original nickel plating left. There is a little plating loss on the top part of the front of the dipper as shown in the scan. The rest of the dipper has normal light wear. On the right side edge of the dipper, there are 2 light indentations on the surface of the metal. Nothing serious, but just wanted to note that they are there. Overall, it is great, working condition. The dipper is listed as #D-32 in my book – Ice Cream Dippers.  This one is a nice addition to any ice cream dipper/scoop collection. Any questions, please email before the auction ends.
