I have never had a nicer Art Deco electric Mantle then this jewel..It is a J.E. Caldwell clock just purchased last week and I still cannot get over its classical styling and absolute crisp Bronze Castings of the 2 Sphinx..Clock works fine and has along each side 2 Illuminaires or Faux candlesticks that each hold a small electric candle bulb..The whole of the clock sits on a large slab of Beautiful striated Black Marble with Gilt Bronze castings throughout..Caldwell was the Best Either in their Philadelphia shop or the merchandise they made and retailed..One of the top names in the Lamp Clock and figural Bronze Sconce Business in America JE Caldwell is the acknowledged leader of high end Merchandise.I doubt very highly if you will ever find another clock such as this. I have myself never seen a similar styled clock at any of the NAWCC shows I attended.
