Stolle Niemen Glass Insulator 1920-30 Poland Rare' Description 6 inch tall J stolle Niemen insulator from Poland.  These are rare insulators from a well documented and unique, historic Polish glass factory.   The factory was founded around the begining of the 20c in eastern Poland, on the banks of the river Niemen.  It produced very fine decorative  and table ware glass which is now hugely collectible, as are the insulators it also produced.  This insulator has not been cleaned.  It is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips.  There are some wire burns and slight scratches or tiny dings that one expects from so old an item, which are not worth mentioning.  I'm setting the price at well below the book value of this historic, collectible and otherwise super-duper insulator.  These insualtors are a good investement not only because they are rare but also because all products from this factory were of high qualilty and are highly prised.
