Description
Up for sale is Jack LaLannes Power Juicer.  Got it as a gift.  Because I'm just not into juicing, I've decided to pass it along to someone who will use it.  I've only taken it out of the box for these pictures.  As the adds on TV say, the juicer uses patented extraction technology.  It has an extra large feeder tube allowing you to put fruit in whole, peels and all.  With a blade that spins at 3600 RPM and a motor that they say has a lifetime guarantee, it looks to me as though it will be a quick source of juice, be it appple, orange, carrot, papaya, watermelon, or whatever.   The cutter blade is made of surgical-quality stainless steel and is whisper quiet.  I can't verify that as it's still in the box, but I guess it is one of the better selling juicers on the market and that means it's got a following.  It has the good housekeeping seal of approval and, except for the electrical unit, is dishwasher safe.  The juicer comes with the user's manual (of course) and a complimentary recipe book.  I like the idea of using the fresh juice to make frozen treats and fruit flavored sauces.  At least you'll know that your juice doesn't have all kind of additives in it that you can't pronounce, and from the reading I'm doing, evidently fresh squeezed juice has more nutrients than juice that's been out of the fruit for days. Well, I better stop writing, before I decide to get "into juicing" and talk myself into keeping it.  Happy bidding.
