The machine has original paint, finish and plating in very good condition. The machine operates on a penny and works very well. It also has the original coinbox. I have the key to the back door but I don't have one for the side vendor although it is unlocked. There are a few nicks, scratches and worn spots from use that would be expected of an original machine but nothing that detracts from the machine. The machine has decals on the side for The Vending Machine Co.(Vemco) which was located in Fayetteville North Carolina. Vemco was the largest distributor of vending machines on the east coast during the 1930s. I lived in Fayetteville, NC during the 1980s and the grand daughter of the founder(Joe Calcutt) gave me some copies of one of their original advertisements. I will include a copy for the winning bidder.
