This pipe took 18 months to get and is a real looker and a great smoker!  It has beautiful grain patterns and a smooth slight fishtail stem.  The shank consists of three knuckle bamboo which has colored nicely. The bit has been covered most of the 9 years I've owned this pipe. A pipe cleaner effortlessly glides to the bottom of the bowl. This is one great pipe! We all know Jess and his renown greatness for the pipes he carves, but I would have to say this one is above his daily pipe specimens for it took a while for Jess to hand pick the perfect piece of briar to make this pipe. It is truly spectacular.
