V. Aronson entitled, "Library Friar". DESCRIPTION: Pair of metal bookends that show a robed sitting Friar studying a book seated upon a bench with library shelves and books in the background. They measure 4 1/2" tall and are 3 3/8" wide. Colors are red, green and blue on a gold background. They are dated 1922. L V Aronson later became Ronson. MARKS: Raised, "L. V. A. @ 1922" on the back of each.CONDITION: Both are in very good condition with no chips, cracks, splits or bends or dents. There are a few small spots of missing color on both.
