The basket measures 12" long x 12" wide x 6" tall.  This beautiful basket features red and blue accent weaving and trim strip.  It has a woven inset attached lid with "Crisco American Pie Celebration Basket" burned into it.  The basket has two swinging handles and a removable wooden riser inside.This is a beautiful basket!  The Crisco American series started in 1991 when Longaberger was invited to create the official Pie Basket for the Crisco American Pie Celebration Bake-Off in New Orleans.  Each of the 50 participants received the basket and then Longaberger made it available to customers for purchase. As with all Longaberger Baskets, this basket has been created exclusively with AMERICAN products and handmade in the USA by AMERICAN workers. It is personally signed on the bottom by the weaver who made it and is stamped with the Longaberger logo.
