"Carving represents the two faces of Ngatoroirangi the navigator who was said to have second sight to enable him to navigate the Te Arawa canoe from Hawaiki to Actearoa". There are stickers on the back of the carving that explains the above statement and show that it was carved in NZ by Moana Wood Carvings. Wood used is Timber known as Kauri.
