This extremely nice piece comes in 4 seperate pieces as follows.  The calcite base, the main body of the eagle, and each wing of the eagle.  I have provided a picture of one wing seperated from the main body--this also provides another perspective and chance to further appreciate the size of this specimen--Large For Sure--.  Assembly is simple and secure and self explanatory. Even for me no instructions required!!! OK--On to the eagle--I could not capture the workmanship you can clearly see in hand.  The feathers, etc are 3 dimensional--an amazing amount of time went into creating this masterpiece. The beak is a very nice piece of tigers eye.  The head and tail feathers are snow white and made of the mineral sodalite.  Great crastsmanship in the details here as well.  The main part of the body, as well as the wings, are made of lapiz. AGAIN, incredible workmanship!!!  The eagle itsel measures about 5 inches high and close to 6 inches deep, including the curvature of the wings.  The total height including stand, calcite matrix, and the highest point of the wings is over 12 inches!! The wings are displayed as "in flight"  perhaps during a landing or taking off.  VERY VERY NICE "action" positioning!!  The wingspan from tip to tip measures an easy 16-18 inches.  This is by far the biggest and best workmanship I have ever seen.  I can't say it enough.  And in person so much better than the pictures--GUARANTEED!!
