Description
PLEASE EMAIL ME BEFORE PAYING VIA PAYPAL, AS I HAVE 2 DIFFERENT PAYPAL ACCOUNTS AND I NEED TO SEND YOU AN INVOICE FROM THE CORRECT ONE BEFORE YOU PAY. I NEED TO KNOW IF YOU HAVE FUNDS IN YOUR PAYPAL ACCOUNT OR IF IT IS A DEBIT/CREDIT CARD BASED PAYMENT. This is for the ONE ball on the LEFT in the group picture, a 1980's remake of the RARE cobalt blue moon & star lightning rod ball, made in the original 3-piece mold that the original ball was made in. Recently found in storage near Goshen, Indiana inside an original vintage packing box for the West Dodd Lightning Conductor Corporation of Goshen, Ind. You are bidding ONLY on the ONE lighter blue ball on the LEFT in the group picture. Ball ranges from light to dark cobalt blue, is approx 5.125 inches tall including the collars and approx 4.25 inches in diameter, weighing between 2 and 3 ounces, this ball was made in a 3-piece mold. Aluminum end caps are new and were recently glued on for display purposes. Ask any questions you need to, I am NOT an expert on LRBs. I know there have been reproductions made of this ball, but this one is NOT one of those cheaper repros, this is a 1980's remake according to the former employee of West Dodd Lightning Conductor Corporation and this one has provenance - it was found in storage at the home of a former employee of the West Dodd Lightning Conductor Corporation of Goshen, Ind. inside a vintage shipping box from that company. NOTE: This auction is for the ball only, the box is NOT included. The cheap repro's also reportedly are lighter weight and were made in 2-piece molds, not in a 3-piece mold like this one. NOTE: I guarantee full satisfaction with this ball, and will return the full bid amount to the buyer upon return of the item, so bid with confidence. However, due to the rarity of this ball, I will be marking it with a removable stamp/sticker which must remain on the ball if it is returned for any reason. I am doing this in order to protect myself and my consignor from that rare situation of an unscrupulous bidder buying it and returning a cheap reproduction ball. Condition: Mint, NO chips, cracks or dings. I grade this one a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10. Email me if you want additional pictures or have any questions. SEE MY OTHER EBAY LISTINGS FOR OTHER GOOD JARS AND BOTTLES. YES, I DO COMBINE SHIPMENT OF ITEMS WON WITHIN 7 DAYS IN ORDER TO SAVE YOU POSTAGE COSTS. I am a charter member of The National Association of Milk Bottle Collectors, publishers of the monthly publication: The Milk Route. NO RESERVE!! Bid with confidence – satisfaction guaranteed or your money back (less postage costs). Buyer to pay postage costs as noted in the shipping options section of this listing below, plus, if desired, actual cost of insurance based on final bid value. Michigan residents to pay 6% state sales tax or provide me with valid state tax id number. PLEASE EMAIL ME BEFORE PAYING VIA PAYPAL, AS I HAVE 2 DIFFERENT PAYPAL ACCOUNTS AND I NEED TO SEND YOU AN INVOICE FROM THE CORRECT ONE BEFORE YOU PAY. Email me with any questions. God Bless!!
