This spectacular lot of one hundred fifty original Vanity Fair lithographs includes a wide range of subjects in different fields of endeavor.  There are Sportsmen, Politicians, Businessmen, Clergy, Royalty, Scientists, Artists, Musicians, Bankers, Journalists, Authors, Military Officers, and even a President of the United States (U.S. Grant). Many were drawn by Vanity Fair's top caricaturists, Leslie Ward, a.k.a. "Spy", and Carlo Pellegrini, a.k.a. "Ape".
