THE NEW YORK HIPPODROME PROGRAM 1918-19 SEASON SIGNED BY HOUDINI The New York Hippodrome program for the 1918-19 season. Houdini has signed, in pencil, his half-page advertising page. Best wishes Houdini The covers are missing a piece here and there, plus detached from rest of program. The vaudeville show was called: Charles Dillingham presents EVERYTHING. Houdini's billing only appears as "Houdini", under "3rd Thing". He would, however, perform his vanishing elephant for the first time. This 19 week season was the longest run, of Houdini's career, in one theatre. Houdini would appear in this show from January 7th thru May 18th, 1918. Houdini would return for one week: August 19-24, 1918. Houdini breaks his wrist but still performs strait-jacket escape.
