This is NOT a vintage piece from a subway car or bus. It is a NEW hand-cut and hand-sanded wall plaque, made from wood, painted and assembled by hand. The item measures approx. 13" in diameter and is approx. 1" deep. The plaque is a faithful reproduction of the dark blue & red logo which adorned the R-32 and R-40 subway cars and the GM Fishbowl buses of the period before the MTA takeover in 1968. It would make a wonderful addition to the decor of any transit buff's home or office. The plaque comes ready to hang (picture wire is attached to the reverse) and a plastic bumper is attached to the bottom of the reverse to prevent wall scratching.
