The Amish call this a Slant Top Recipe Box, because of the angle the lid is sitting on the box. This recipe box is hand crafted out of 1/2" thick oak hardwood stained in an S-2 light oak finish that reflects the Quality and Craftsmanship associated with the Amish. The lid is fastened on with two beautiful designed brass plated hinges. The measurements are as follows, 6-1/4" High, 8-1/2" Wide, and 5-3/4" Deep and the box will hold both the 3x5 and 4x6 recipe cards.
