Hand made and decorated in England by Andy Titcomb exclusively for Cosmic Zoom Ltd . It measures 5.5" wide and is 4.25" high to the top of the tail. This is number 64 from a limited edition of ONLY 150 sets maximum, which is fired on the base in gold gilt. The set also comes with a numbered card. The mermaid's tail is the nodding salt and the seahorse forms the nodding pepper ( the eyes are the holes ) . The decorating process is all done by hand and is a lengthy and complicated process requiring multiple firings. It is finished off with different mother-of-pearl lustres and some touches of genuine gold gilt to the hair. The nature of the various decorating processes and multiple firings, means that every set comes out with its own unique variations, making each one an individual.
