Originally cufflinks perhaps? Unusual, very high quality, beautiful and wonderfully wearable - not to mention collectable! CONDITION: Very good. Slight signs of wear commensurate with age and use, no loss or damage to shell. Slight loss to enamel.  DEFECTS: None. DATE/MARKS: Cameos around 1880. English hallmark to both pins for Chester 1911. Maker's marks RP. DIMENSIONS: Pins 2 inches long, cameo surrounds 15 mm diameter (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.
