Description
ANTIQUE COFFEE GRINDER: PHILADELPHIA U.S.A. ENTERPRISE M'F'G Co. Weighs approximately 89.0 lbs. I am listing this item for one of my family members who is downsizing their collection and getting ready for retirement. All the internal grinding plates are present and functioning. Handle and nobs all look to be original from my research of other similar grinders (the top nob on the grinder lid has a chip, but is still securely intact). I'm not sure about the paint - my guess is that it was probably cleaned up and repainted prior to my families purchase of it (can't be sure either way, as I'm not an expert) - it looks like a good job if so (see picture for details). The wooden base has a crack roughly 4 inches long on the front center from age. The wooden dovetailed drawer is tight and intact. Overall this item is in great shape, and a wonderful piece of an era gone by. Add this one to your collection, display it in your kitchen, or even use it for your fresh ground daily cup of joe. By the way, this item is "LAB APPROVED", ha, ha - That's a good looking dog though, huh. If I can answer any further questions or take some different photos to show additional details, please don't hesitate to ask. I want to make sure you get exactly what your bidding on, with no surprises or conveniently omitted details like I'm sure exist with some other dealers and auction houses that try to only highlight the positive. Buyer pays all shipping costs. This item is heavy weighing in at 89.0 lbs before packaging. I've never shipped anything quite this heavy, but I will only charge you exactly what it costs to ship it to you. I tried filling in some basic height and weight info in the ebay shipping calculator to get a rough idea of shipping costs (if it turns out to be more than the estimate I will cover the difference, if less I will refund you the difference, no flat rates or games). I'm not looking to make any money off of the shipping, just trying to get the item to you in good condition and in reasonable time. Thanks for looking, and have a great day.
