The process also involves the hand painting of rare pigments including 24 carat gold.   Then the final approval of came from ERTE.  This "COLLECTION ERTE" consists of limited edition designs based on original works by ERTE which were exclusively created for Courvoisier.  This collection combines two of the life's greatest pleasures -- an outstanding cognac and the beauty of art.  Each bottle is individually numbered -- The cognac in each bottle is a very rare blend using the combination of the finest cognacs exclusively from the Grande Champagne area, with the oldest dating back to the year ERTE was born which was 1892.   ERTE was a great admirer of Cognac Courvoisier as he states in his own handwritten words on the back of each of these beautiful bottles.
