According to their mother, better know today as Grandma Bonnie, the baskets were woven by their father J.W., then hidden by her inside the home "because early spring in Dresden, Ohio, was too darn cold to be running around outside hunting for Easter baskets." This original handwoven Longaberger Easter Basket is made today for you, the same way J.W. did years ago for his children; woven one basket at a time with only the finest of harwood maple weaving. Measures 8.5" in diameter and 4.5" H Included in this auction is the basket with stationary handle and the product card. Basket is in EXCELLENT condition with no cracks or breakage. It has never been used ONLY displayed in my smoke/pet free home. I am cleaning out my baskets and will be listing many so please check back ofter for more great buys.
