Japan Celluloid Wind Up ' Description D E S C R I P T I O N "RARE Celluloid Mickey Mouse Riding Pluto Wind Up, Occupied Japan"This very RARE and SCARCE toy is in excellent condition or better with no MAJOR flaws. However, there are 3 flaws and in our opinion these are trully very very MINOR flaws. The first flaw is that the pinkish portion on the front metal wheel appears to have been hand painted. The toy originally had decals where the painted pink is (Is Pink but May Look White in our Pic). The next minor flaw is with Mickeys left hand or arm. This appears to be a replacement. The last flaw is with Pluto's front feet,,,,,they appear to have been repaired at one time. None of these flaws affect its use. We have had this toy in our possession for nearly 20 years and it was this way when we bought it. We are calling these 3 flaws minor since the toy is seldom ever seen or found and when it does surface it is missing pieces and does not work. The overall condition of this WORKING, VERY RARE toy should please most of you collectors/dealers out there. The wind up works great and when it goes it reminds you of the energizer bunny,,,,,,he just keeps on going. Mickey goes around in a circle as Pluto goes up and down to simulate a riding motion,,,,,very advanced for such an early toy. Toy is marked, "Made In Occupied Japan" as well as the WDP Copyright.
