It was purchased in Nuristan, Afghanistan by Gary W. Bowersox "The Gem Hunter" who sent it to Bart Curren an award winning carver. Bart is famous for what he titles the "Illusion Sculpture."This 370 carat sculptured totally translucent aquamarine measures 2 1/4" x 1 3/4"x 1 1/4" (6Cm4 1/2Cm2 1/4cm)  This Illusion Aquamarine sculpture was featured in the book "Gemstones of Afghanistan" (p. 155).
