The silver handle has a badge of St. Anna and a small silver horseshoe with the inscription “For Bravery”. The old blade is decorated with itched leave ornament on one side and Russian Imperial double headed eagle with following lines: Armour Manufacture of Osman Omarov. Wooden scabbard, covered with black leather (not certain whether the leather has been replaced) and decorated with four silver fittings probably Chercesian work.
