Cast in the 1940's by Banthrico, this is one of their earliest pieces and what a gem it is. Standing 3" tall on a 3 1/8 by 2.75" base with the original round Banthrico coin plate but no key. One nice feature of this building is that the only coin or bill slot is on the base, nothing to mar the lines of the building. This is one of the hardest Banthrico pieces to find and one of very few souvenir building replicas to come out of Motor City. This piece is finished in a copper washed and has aged to a soft bronzey patina.
