Description
Vintage Dutch Girl Figural Egg Timer German Here is a collectible porcelain ceramic figural egg timer. Not sure of its age. Found at an estate sale. Features a kneeling Dutch girl holding the glass timer in her raised left hand. Approx. 3 1/4" tall to the top of her Dutch cap and 4 1/4" tall to the top of the glass timer. The timer has black sand inside and it runs for 3 minutes. It rotates easily on the metal rod that runs through her hand. Bright and clean timer. No chips or cracks. Minor light crazing - I noticed 2 crazing lines on her side. There is an opening in the bottom of the unglazed ceramic - as shown in my picture. The back of her dress has an impressed mark "DP 6 M Rd. 757258 Foreign German". Please email with questions.
