After the fall of Berlin wall, GDR stopped its existence and this item is considered as a collectible and very rare item.  Post war era.  Mid 1940s.The plate measures 13" in diameter and stands on a  4" foot with 5" in diameter. Colors: dark blue, white and gold.  The center has beautiful , colorful  floral pattern  and is adorned with large leaves and gold edgework.
